We promote six concerts a year, three each in Autumn and Spring, given by acclaimed professional classical musicians.   We aim to provide a good variety of music, including two events a year which will appeal to lovers of the classical guitar.   We are friendly people and newcomers are always welcome.   Programmes and interval drinks are complimentary.

Weston Concerts Update

Dear Friends

The last few months have been difficult for us all and the inability to gather together in any context, let alone to make or enjoy music, has increased feelings of isolation.  We are all missing live music.

Although Sean Shibe just made it under the wire before lockdown, we were sad to cancel our remaining spring season of concerts.  As you will know we already have a full programme booked for this autumn and also for next spring 2021, but the extent to which any of these will be able to proceed remains unclear.  However, most people’s diaries are rather empty, including our performers, and there seems little harm in us being optimistic at this stage.  We are not therefore cancelling anything just yet and would ask you to keep the dates free for now.

We will be watching developments carefully and let you know nearer the time whether any of our concerts will go ahead this year.

Meanwhile we hope that you are finding alternative ways to feed your love of music

With best wishes

Weston Music Society
