Weston Concerts present
Saturday July 24th 2021
We are delighted to announce the return of live music at Weston Concerts on July 24th with Flauguissimo Duo. In view of continued restrictions on public performances, seats will be limited to a maximum of 50 and so we are doing things a little differently this time. It is possible that, if government guidelines allow, some of this detail may be relaxed by the time of the event.
There will be two performances –
one at 3pm and another at 7.30pm.
Flauguissimo Duo was founded by flautist Yu-Wei Hu and guitarist Johan Löfving in 2008 and have since performed all over the world both together and individually, to much acclaim. They invite you to an intimate musical evening of familiar and forgotten stories from all over Europe. A journey through space and time, featuring instruments unique to both the baroque and early romantic eras. The programme will include music by Bach, Roman, Gluck, Giuliani and Clara Schumann. Part of the programme will be baroque flute & theorbo and the other half classical flute & romantic guitar.
Tickets priced at £20 each (£10 for age 19 or under) and are only available online from Trybooking.co.uk on a first come first served basis using this link https://www.trybooking.co.uk/BANA So, the earlier you book, the more likely you are to obtain tickets for the event. Contact details for the person booking will be recorded for “test and trace” purposes. If you are able to “bubble” your ticket purchases this will help us to seat you closer together and keep groups safely apart. If everyone booked individually, we would only be able to seat about 25 people! We will reserve the right to move your seats in order to optimise the number of people able to attend the concert.
There will be no paper tickets and no paper programmes – these will be made available online beforehand.
If you have any symptoms suspicious of COVID, do not attend. We will refund anyone who is affected in this way. You might consider taking a free lateral flow test beforehand for additional peace of mind.
On arrival you will be shown to your seats by a volunteer. Hand sanitiser and wipes will be available. You will be asked to wear a face mask and remain seated throughout the event.
Although we will have to limit movement within the church, drinks will be served in a covered area outside during the intervals. Tea or coffee in the afternoon, wine or juice in the evening. You will be asked to maintain social distancing at all times.
Please be aware that we have only one toilet – anyone using the facility will be asked to clean surfaces when they have finished.
We hope you will understand that these measures are in place for your reassurance and safety and that by changing the arrangements for refreshments etc. that you will be able to enjoy the event.
