Andrey Lebedev and Iosif Purits

Moscow born, Adelaide raised, now London based, guitarist Andrey is a highly acclaimed interpreter of contemporary music having premiered new works by numberous composers, including Harrison Birtwhistle, Brett Dean, Leo Brouwer and Peter Sculthorpe. Having won multiple international guitar prizes he was also the first recipient of the Julian Bream Trust Scholarship in 2013.

Iosif comes from a long line of Russian classical accordionists and is known for his effortless mastery of the instrument and profound musical sensitivity. He has played at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, George Weston Recital Hall and for UNESCO in Paris. Iosif is a multiple international prizewinner; these include

the coveted Royal Academy of Music Patron’s Award.
