Eden-Stell Guitar duo

2016 is the Eden Stell Duo's 25th Anniversary year. They are no strangers to Weston, having used our church venue as a studio for their many recordings, engineered by John Taylor - not always in the warmest of weather. Despite this they have not performed fo us as a duo since 2008, so it is great to welcome them back. Since then they have toured widely, more recently as members of the Vida Guitar group.

They have a wide-ranging programme for us. The first half will start with works by Sor, Couperin and Rameau, follwed by five Armenian folk songs by G. Sarajyan. The second half will include a suite by Poulenc, five dances by Mompou and a Theme and Variations in D minor by Brahms, arranged for guitar by John Williams.
